Thank you for stopping by CraftyTrain.com, open online 24/7. First time customer? Here's the short version of who we are and what you need to know before placing an order:

  • All items are ready to ship from Texas.
  • We accept debit/credit cards, and offer Sezzle payments.
  • We do not accept returns/exchanges. This means every item you purchase is NEW. It has never been in anyone else's home, craft area, or smelly gym bag (you never know).
  • We run our business a certain way to keep our prices low. The number one question we receive is "why is there a $5.95 handling fee?" This is because we do not include processing/labor/order fulfillment costs into our product prices. Instead, we charge a $5.95 handling fee on every order. Spend $20 or $200, the handling fee will not change. 
  • Orders $30+ ship free. Orders under $30 ship for $6.95 flat rate. 
  • Orders $200+ are shipped with Delivery Signature. Orders under $200 have the option to add/purchase Delivery Signature at checkout. 
  • We know you're excited to receive your order, which is why we ship all orders in the order they were received, as quickly as possible. The current processing time will always be posted in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Full details of our policies are listed below. *Free Shipping Offer Details

  • To receive free shipping, your order must have a minimum product subtotal of $30.00, before tax and after discount.
  • Orders with a product subtotal under $30.00 are charged flat rate $6.95 shipping.
  • All orders incur a $5.95 handling fee. 

Why is there a handling fee for my order?

Our product prices do not include cost of expenses related to fulfillment or labor packing cost. The $5.95 handling fee covers the cost of packaging and labor to process your order.

Shipping Details

  • We currently only ship to addresses located within the Continental US. We will ship to APO/FPO/DPO military personnel across the globe as long as the military service member has an assigned ZIP code, also referred to as an APO/FPO/DPO number. Buyer is responsible for any customs fees, duties, etc...
  • Our goal is to process and ship your order as expeditiously as possible. Our processing times are always changing and we want you to know how many processing days to expect before your order is shipped. Current processing times are shown in the upper left hand corner of our website. Processing times are in business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). 
  • The processing time is the amount of time it should take us to package up your order for shipment. Processing time does not include Transit Time. Transit Time is the amount of time your package will take in transit before delivery. Once your order has shipped, your tracking number will be e-mailed to you for your records.
  • Once your order has been shipped, it should arrive in 2-5 business days for addresses located within the Continental US, and 13-30 business days for Military Packages. Business days exclude weekends and holidays recognized by the post office.
  • We do not offer expedited shipping or "jump the line passes". Your order will be fulfilled in the order in which it was received.
  • Orders under $30.00 ship for a flat rate $6.95 shipping charge; orders $30+ receive free shipping*. All orders incur a $5.95 handling fee.

 

Can I add on to my order?

Yes, but only if your original order has not shipped. If you would like to add on to your order, please e-mail orders@craftytrain.com with the subject line "PLEASE HOLD ORDER".  We do not need a list of items you are wanting to add. We only need to know your name, address, and order number.  For example, "Please hold order #12345 for Jane Doe mailing address 6789 Main Street Anytown, USA." We will reply to your e-mail during business hours only to let you know if your original order can be added onto. Please note, this is a courtesy that creates extra work for us at no additional fee to you. Please follow the instructions listed above.

 

"Where is my order?" "When can I expect my order?" "I am having delivery issues." "I entered an old or incorrect mailing address."

  • The processing time (amount of time it should take us to package up your order for shipment) is listed on your receipt. Processing time does not include Transit Time (the amount of time your package will take in transit to be delivered). Once your order has shipped, your tracking number will be e-mailed (or text if you select SMS text notifications) to you.
  • Once your order has been shipped, it should arrive in 3-7 business days for addresses within the Continental US, and 13-30 business days for Military Packages.
  • If you are having an issue with the shipping company, such as a tracking number showing a delay or your package being marked as "Delivered" but you cannot locate it, you must contact the shipping company directly. USPS and UPS both have the ability to check the GPS coordinates of where your package was delivered. Once a package has been marked "Delivered", it is out of our hands. We will not refund or resend orders marked as "Delivered".
  • We automatically include Delivery Signature Required on all orders $200+. We also offer the option for you to add Delivery Signature Required to your order at time of checkout on orders less than $200. Delivery Signature Required means that the shipping company will hand deliver your package and obtain your signature. You must be available to sign for your package on the day of delivery, or you will need to make other arrangements, such as having your package held at the post office or UPS center for you to pick up, or reschedule delivery.
  • If you have entered an old or incorrect mailing address, we can only assist if your package has not shipped. If you have not received shipping confirmation from us, send an e-mail to orders@craftytrain.com with the subject "CHANGE MAILING ADDRESS". Shipping notification e-mails are sometimes delayed, and does not indicate your order has not already shipped. If your order has already shipped, it will be your responsibility to contact the shipping company. We are not responsible for delivery issues if you provide us with an old or incorrect address. If your item is returned to us, you can either pay $6.95 to have your order re-shipped, or you can request a refund minus original shipping and handling & 20% restocking fee.

What is your return policy?

To keep our prices low, we do not accept returns or exchanges, but please contact us if there is a legitimate issue with your order by e-mailing us: orders@craftytrain.com. We will not accept forced returns. Please remember to avoid opening your package with sharp instruments (such as scissors, knives, or box cutters) to avoid cutting your purchased items.
